Mel brings to Rodan + Fields 15-plus years of extensive experience in the direct selling channel, having recently managed one of the largest skincare brands in Australia.
Australia was chosen as the next market due to their proven success with Proactiv, ease of transition with another English-speaking country, and the strong brand representation of their previous company, Proactiv. Rodan + Fields announced on Saturday 9/19/15 its plan for pre-launching its next country in December, 2016.
Australia is the second country on the path to take the company international and follow in the wake of the path they created with Proactiv previously. In February of 2015, Rodan+Fields launched into Canada and in their first year of business tripled their projections.
